Autumn Views and Open Roads: Recapping the Bedford Member Drive

Autumn Views

The best way to appreciate a car is to drive it, and for One Drivers Club that starts with making sure conditions are right. After the original date was postponed because of the weather forecast, putting driver safety and the care of the cars first, Members gathered for a fall drive through the winding roads and rolling hills of Northern Westchester and Putnam County.

The lineup included a Porsche Speedster, Ferrari 458 Speciale, Porsche GT4, Lamborghini Sterrato, Singer-reimagined Porsche, McLaren 675LT, and Porsche GT3 Touring. From open-air driving to track-inspired performance, each brought its own character to the morning.

Leaving the Clubhouse, the route traded tight, wooded backroads for elevation changes and open stretches of countryside, with autumn color just beginning to show across the lower Hudson Valley. It was a chance to enjoy the cars in their element and share the road with fellow Members.

Back at the Clubhouse, the morning continued over breakfast and conversation. Members exchanged thoughts on the current car market, discussing recent sales, specific auction results, and where they believe values are headed. As the conversation moved between market observations and personal experiences, the Clubhouse became a place to share perspectives that extend beyond the drive itself.

The drive was a welcome addition to the Club’s calendar. Between the time on the road and the conversations back at the Clubhouse, the morning offered a reminder that the cars are only part of what makes these gatherings worthwhile. One Drivers Club looks forward to more drives with Members in the seasons ahead.
