Checkeditout 2026: 400 Porsches, Three Days, One Community

A Chicago Tradition, Nine Years and Counting

Since 2018, Checkeditout has brought Chicago’s Porsche community together for a day centered on the cars, the people who build them, and the many ways to experience them.

Now in its ninth consecutive year, the event has grown from a grassroots gathering of roughly 70 cars into one of the Midwest’s most anticipated annual gatherings for Porsche enthusiasts. This year, more than 400 cars filled the streets of Fulton Market, marking the largest Checkeditout yet.

The scale was impressive, but the variety was what made the event stand out. Factory icons shared the streets with race cars, barn finds, restomods, and one-off builds created from their owners’ desire to see an idea become reality. There is no single definition of what ‘belongs’ at Checkeditout, and that is precisely what makes this event succeed.

The Cars Everyone Was Talking About

Among the many cars on display, two quickly became the center of attention.

Singer Vehicle Design brought its DLS Turbo, offering attendees a close look at one of the latest expressions of Singer’s approach to reimagining the 911. Graham Rahal Performance brought a Porsche 959, adding another rare and highly recognizable piece of Porsche history to the lineup. Together, they represented two very different approaches to the marque, but both drew the same response: a must-see showstopper.

One Drivers Club was on site throughout the day, sharing conversations with attendees about the cars, the community, and everything that makes events like Checkeditout worth returning to year after year. Our Members also saw firsthand just how much the event has grown and how deeply the broader Chicago automotive community has embraced it.

Built by the Community

Perhaps the most compelling aspect of Checkeditout is that there is no single way to participate.

The event bridges enthusiasts across generations and backgrounds, from longtime collectors to those newly discovering their appreciation for Porsche. Some arrive with factory-original cars, while others arrive with heavily modified builds or projects that exist nowhere else. All of them have a place.

That spirit is what has carried Checkeditout from a small gathering to a serious annual tradition. While the event has grown considerably over the years, it hasn't lost the sense that Porsche culture belongs to the people who choose to shape it.
