Heroes & Horsepower: Supporting XCGIF and Make-A-Wish

At One Drivers Club, our community is connected by a shared passion for automobiles. But what makes the Club meaningful extends beyond the cars themselves.
Recently, the Seattle Clubhouse became a gathering place for two very different causes: bringing Members together to support veterans returning to civilian life, and fulfilling the dream of a young automotive enthusiast.
Supporting Those Who Served
One Drivers Club welcomed Randy Couture, six-time UFC Champion, U.S. Army veteran, actor, and founder of the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation, to the Clubhouse to share the story behind the organization and its mission.
Established in 2007, XCGIF was established to raise awareness and provide support to combat and wounded veterans and their families facing emergent financial needs as they transition from military service.
For Members, the evening offered a firsthand look at the work behind the foundation and the veterans and families it serves, directly from someone who experienced that transition.
The conversation also carried a personal connection for Jake von Volkli, Assistant Manager and U.S. Army veteran.
“I’m beyond grateful to Randy for coming here to talk about his foundation and the impact it’s had on veterans who they’ve helped support. I’ve seen firsthand that many organizations similar to XCGIF seemingly care more about being seen helping veterans in need than actually helping them. Randy’s aversion to making his donations publicity-focused, as well as his disciplined dedication to directly supporting veterans struggling to readapt to civilian life, really impressed me. As a veteran myself, I can wholeheartedly endorse Xtreme Couture GI Foundation as a charity worth supporting.”
The mission continued on the road with Operation: Ride for our Troops, the sixth annual motorcycle poker run in the Seattle Metro area benefiting the foundation.
A Ferrari-Filled Wish
Against the backdrop of these rally legends sat two of Singer's newest creations: the Turbo Study and DLS Turbo. Rather than viewing the cars from behind barriers, guests spent the evening examining every detail, speaking directly with Singer's designers and engineers, and gaining a firsthand understanding of the philosophy, craftsmanship, and obsessive attention that define every commission.
Saturday morning shifted the experience to the One Drivers Club Seattle Clubhouse for a special Cars & Coffee event.
What awaited guests was an extraordinary display: four Singer commissions gathered in one place. Singer's Turbo Study and DLS Turbo were joined by two privately owned examples, creating an opportunity to compare four distinct interpretations of the air-cooled Porsche 911 side by side.

Whether supporting veterans or helping make a child’s wish come true, these moments reflect the kind of community we want One Drivers Club to be: connected by a shared passion, and willing to put that passion toward something truly impactful.
Supporting the Causes
The Xtreme Couture GI Foundation supports combat and injured veterans facing urgent needs as they transition back to civilian life, providing financial assistance and support for physical and mental health challenges, including PTSD, TBI, and combat stress.
Make-A-Wish fulfills life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, bringing together volunteers, donors, and community partners to make those experiences possible. For more than 40 years, Make-A-Wish Washington has granted wishes for thousands of children in local communities.
