Track Day at The Ridge

Where Members (and Machines) Came Roaring

Every car enthusiast knows that there’s driving, and then there’s driving. On a crisp morning at The Ridge, our Members experienced the latter: an open-format track day where limits weren’t just tested, they were redefined.

Unlike overcrowded public track days where you're fighting for clean laps, this was pure, uninterrupted freedom. No lines. No pressure. No crowded grids. Just a perfectly managed rotation where Members could go all-out or fine-tune their technique on their own terms. Wanted coaching? Drivers hopped in with one of our instructors for some precision line work. Preferred to fly solo? Green flag, you were clear to roll. Hot laps, cool downs, data reviews, it was your schedule, your pace, your car.

And speaking of cars, the paddock was a rolling car show that could’ve held its own at any concourse. Porsche was heavily represented, naturally: multiple GT3s, a few GT3 RSs, and a standout Cayman GT4 RS carving corners like it was born there (because it was). The McLaren 720S made its presence known with beautiful precision. American muscle flexed with a snarling Mustang GT500, while BMW E30s brought old-school balance and driver engagement to the party.

The finest Italian machines showed up as well. A Ferrari 488 Pista reminded everyone what modern aero and twin-turbo V8s can do, while a Ferrari F12 kept the V12 faithful grinning ear-to-ear. And then there was the community-built Civic, proof that when passion meets preparation, it doesn’t matter how many zeros are on your build sheet. That little Civic took the corners with the same confidence as the exotics, earning nods from even the most seasoned members.

Throughout the day, one reaction echoed across the paddock: “Holy cow.”

That’s what happens when you give serious drivers serious space. Fewer cars on the track meant more seat time, more learning, more fun, and far less “wait for your turn.” Members walked away with faster lap times, sharper skills, and bigger grins.

This Track day reminds us of what true driving should feel like: connected, focused, addictive. And we're only getting started.

See you at the next one. Bring your A-game and maybe your fastest set of tires.
